Re-Elect Melvin Foukal for City Council District 6. Melvin Foukal is proud to be seeking re-election to the Monroeville City Council, where he has faithfully served for the past 14 years. A lifelong advocate for Monroeville, Melvin brings decades of business leadership, civic involvement, and a deep commitment to the people of our city.
PROFESSIONAL JOURNEY
After graduating from Auburn University in 1977, Melvin began his career with Harrigan Lumber Company, where he worked for over four decades before retiring in 2022. In addition to his professional career, Melvin has successfully owned and operated several local businesses, including Suds & Duds Laundromats, a car wash, Monroeville Portable Signs, Telpage of Monroeville, The Picture Place, Monroeville Home Video, and Cherry Street Bar-B-Que.
